Who is responsible
Velvetatticmunch Systems Ltd, 42 Pearse Street, Dublin 2, D02 YX88, Ireland, company registration 763594, is responsible for personal data it handles in connection with this publication. Contact [email protected] for privacy questions and rights requests.
The local contact worksheet
The worksheet generates a plain-text message in your browser. Its script does not transmit the subject or message, store a draft in localStorage, or submit a form to a server. Copying writes the generated text to your clipboard after you request it. Downloading creates a text file on your device. Clipboard contents and downloaded files remain subject to your device and browser settings.
If you send the message through an email application, that is a separate action. Your email provider handles the message under its own terms and privacy arrangements. Avoid sending sensitive personal information, confidential process data or information about other people unless necessary and appropriate.
Correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you supply, the message and associated email metadata. We use that information to review and answer the enquiry, address corrections and maintain necessary correspondence records. The basis is our legitimate interest in operating an editorial publication and responding to voluntary enquiries, or compliance with a legal obligation where applicable.
We keep correspondence only as long as needed for its purpose, follow-up, dispute handling or legal obligations. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the enquiry. We do not use an editorial enquiry as automatic permission to send marketing.
Technical access and service providers
Serving a website necessarily exposes connection information, such as an IP address, to the hosting infrastructure. Hosting or email providers may process technical logs and correspondence on our behalf for delivery, security and administration. Such processing should be limited to the relevant service and protected by appropriate contractual and security measures.
The supplied site code contains no analytics, advertising pixels, embedded third-party media or third-party font requests. It does not sell personal data or create advertising profiles. If a service involves a transfer outside the European Economic Area, applicable transfer safeguards are required.
Browser storage
The storage-options page can save a preference under velvetatticmunch-storage-choice in localStorage. It contains only the choice you make, not your enquiry. It remains until you clear it or your browser removes it. No optional tracking is enabled by the current site code. See Cookies to review or clear this preference.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of relevant personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting prior lawful processing. We may need proportionate information to verify a request.
You may complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission or your competent supervisory authority. Information is available at dataprotection.ie.
Changes
This notice should be reviewed when the site’s functions or data practices change. Material changes to collection or optional storage require corresponding updates before those practices are introduced.
